Bloodborne PC Keyboard and Mouse

Mouse camera is not supported in Linux bbport 0.4, Supermedo Windows v1.5 or Mrsuss60 Windows v0.2. Use the arrows for Linux/Supermedo, IJKL for Mrsuss60, or a gamepad's right stick. WASD moves and Left Shift dodges or runs.

Choose your project's column below. If you want a different native project with mouse camera controls, check PC port projects.

Default keys by project and version

Linux bindings changed in the launcher override its defaults. For Supermedo v1.5 keyboard play, disconnect controllers and wireless receivers first: a connected gamepad takes priority over ordinary keyboard movement, camera and combat input.

Keep camera movement and D-pad navigation separate. Enter opens the game menu on Linux and Supermedo, while it confirms on Mrsuss60; use F1 or O for Mrsuss60's menu.

Dodge, run, heal and lock on

Tap Left Shift for a backstep. Add a movement key to roll; while locked onto an enemy, that combination gives you a quickstep. Hold Left Shift with a movement key to run.

Use K on Linux/Supermedo or ↓ on Mrsuss60 to select an item, then press E to use it. Press Q for a healing item. Creating Blood Bullets with I on Linux/Supermedo or ↑ on Mrsuss60 spends HP, so check your health before using it.

Press C with an enemy nearby to toggle lock-on. With no enemy in range, C resets the camera. Test movement, the camera and lock-on in a clear area before entering a fight.

For a charged attack, hold F. Press 1 during an attack, roll or quickstep to perform a transformation attack.

Rebind keys on Linux

  1. Open the launcher's Controls → Keyboard section.
  2. Select the controller input you want to change.
  3. Click Assign, then press your new key.
  4. Restart the game and test the binding. After restarting, press the key you assigned to R1; it should perform a right-hand attack.

Use Controls → Gamepad to change controller-button assignments and Controls → Controller to select a device when several are connected.

Supermedo v1.5 and Mrsuss60 v0.2 use fixed keyboard mappings. Use their defaults in the table. Linux's Controls → Keyboard and controller-selection menus apply to the Linux launcher.

When input stops responding

Test the same input after each check:

  1. Close the overlay. Press Insert if the settings menu is showing, then test gameplay input with it closed. On Supermedo, release any held buttons and press them again after closing it.
  2. Finish text entry. Use Enter to accept the name. On Mrsuss60, Esc uses the default name; on Supermedo, Esc cancels the dialog.
  3. Check the key group. WASD moves, D-pad keys navigate, and camera keys look around. Use your project's column.
  4. Isolate devices. On Supermedo v1.5, disconnect controllers and receivers when testing keyboard play. For Supermedo gamepad play, leave only the intended controller connected: the port automatically opens the first detected gamepad. On Linux, use Controls → Controller to select the intended device.
  5. Check Linux bindings. Reassign the affected input in Controls → Keyboard, restart and test it.
  6. Update older releases. Linux 0.4 fixes keyboard/gamepad coexistence and bindings overwritten by overlay settings. Mrsuss60 v0.2 adds keyboard menu navigation and simultaneous keyboard input alongside a controller. Supermedo's centered name dialog is included in v1.5.

If input still sticks or disappears, record your release, operating system, controller name and the key that fails. Note whether disconnecting a device changes the result, then use the native-port bug-report checklist.

For game-file requirements and installation, return to Bloodborne PC setup. If your window says BBLauncher or shadPS4, identify your route with Native Port vs shadPS4.
